How to Change the Multi-Factor Authentication Display Language

  1. Change the display language used for Okta prompts, emails, and portal.
  2. The full list of supported display languages may be found in the Okta Help Center.


  1. Log into the Okta portal at
  2. Click on the drop down arrow next to your name.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Click on the Edit Profile button.
  5. Enter your password and click Verify.
  6. If prompted, complete the authentication challenge.
  7. In the Display Languages section, click Edit.
  8. Select the desired language from the list and click Save.
